Job duties include: <ul><li>Setup and operate Tsugami CNC Swiss lathes</li><li>Perform a variety of activities with only a normal level of supervision</li><li>Monitor equipment for proper operation</li><li>Inspect first pieces and obtain approval from designated person before commencing production</li><li>Inspect parts during run according to established procedures/functional specifications/aesthetic specifications/customer requirements</li><li>Use common gages (calipers, micrometers, thread gages, depth micrometers, etc.)</li><li>Make general decisions regarding quality, tolerances, and sequence of operations</li><li>Identify and resolve routine (and some non-routine) issues through effective troubleshooting</li><li>Complete secondary operations as required or instructed</li><li>Perform daily maintenance checks on all equipment operated</li><li>Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials</li><li>Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal company partners (co-workers, internal customers, etc.) when performing assigned tasks</li><li>Keep the supervisor aware in a timely manner of any issues needing the supervisor's involvement </li><li>Maintain timely and accurate records and reports, as required</li><li>Observe good housekeeping and safety habits</li><li>Support change and company/departmental goals through actions and behavior</li><li>Perform assignments in a timely and efficient manner while meeting customer quality expectations</li></ul> Tylok offers a full slate of benefits, including a safe harbor 401k and a shift premium. CNC Swiss Machine Operators: 2nd Shift

CNC Lathe Operators: 2nd Shift Tylok is looking for QUALIFIED 2nd shift CNC lathe operators! Located in the northeast corner of Euclid, Ohio, we proudly offer a fully-renovated facility equipped with late model Citizen Miyano and Doosan CNC lathes. A family-owned business for over 69 years, Tylok offers competitive pay as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Come and be a part of a fantastic team! We don't use rotating or compressed shifts. Our schedules are predictable 5/8's weekly. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you'll operate a cell of 2-3 CNC lathes to produce precision-machined threaded stainless steel, steel, and brass components. Note that the parts are relatively simple to machine and the cycle times are set to facilitate operating more than one machine. You will be expected to check machined parts using common gauges, deburr parts, put parts in pin racks, and carry racks to nearby holding shelf for the handoff to Inspection and the next step in the production flow. Requirements include 2+ yrs. of experience operating CNC lathes to make stainless steel precision threaded products, maintain production requirements, and meet applicable quality standards. Candidates must also have the proven ability to read prints and job documentation and check sample parts using basic manual and digital gauges. We expect that candidates will own basic machinist gauges.
