In this role you will: <ul><li>Operate CNC machines by loading and executing programs.</li><li>Secure and fixture parts in the machine for processing.</li><li>Monitor machine operations to ensure programs run correctly.</li><li>Deburr finished parts as needed.</li><li>Verify part accuracy using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools according to work instructions and customer specifications.</li><li>Ensure the machine is in proper working condition, reporting any issues or concerns immediately to a supervisor.</li><li>Identify and report nonconforming parts, conditions, or manufacturing processes.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machine at all times.</li><li>Properly manage coolant, including removing contaminants, maintaining the correct dilution ratio, and refilling or cleaning the machine's coolant system as needed.</li><li>Perform self-inspections to ensure product quality.</li><li>Accurately record production and inspection results as required.</li><li>Consistently meet production schedules and requirements.</li></ul> You have: <ul><li>Grade 12 diploma and CNC Machining professional diploma with at least 1 year of experience, or Grade 12 with a minimum of 3 years of experience.</li><li>CNC experience preferred (machining, AFP, ply cutting, winding, 3D printing, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with CNC machine operation, with knowledge of G and M code and Mastercam as assets.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and self-motivated with a quick learning ability.</li><li>Skilled in using power tools, cutting tools, and related equipment.</li><li>Able to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints and follow demonstrated steps.</li><li>Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).</li><li>Effective both independently and in a team environment, with strong manual dexterity and coordination.</li><li>Physically capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs and wearing personal protective equipment.</li><li>Organized, with the ability to track parts, job orders, and manage time efficiently.</li><li>Maintains a clean workspace to protect sensitive parts from foreign materials.</li><li>Prioritizes safety and exercises caution around machinery and equipment.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>At STELIA North America, we know our people are our greatest asset.
