Things are exciting for us at GasTech, as we are growing and looking for an experienced CNC Profiling Operator to join our team! Key Contributions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders with a reasonable rate of proficiency and accuracy.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly and report potential hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.
  • Assist in other areas of the facility as needed; other duties as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This position is a manufacturing role with most of the work performed in our shop, which is a heavy construction and fabrication environment. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, squat, and crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality is required.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of vessel layout is preferred but not required.

• Previous sub-arc welding experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience operating CNC-controlled burning equipment such as a pipe/vessel profiler or burn tables is strongly preferred; experience with HGG profiler equipment is also strongly preferred.

• Experience working with Carbon and Stainless-Steel cutting using Oxy-Fuel and Plasma cutting processes is strongly preferred.

• Previous experience with forklift and crane operation to prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine is preferred but not required.

• Demonstrable knowledge of ASME code pressure vessel and piping dimensional tolerances is strongly preferred.

• Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of basic HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is required.

• A strong technical aptitude and basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required.

• An ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, levels, and tape measures to ensure the accuracy of dimensions is required.

• The ability to remain organized with a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required.

• The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines utilizing excellent time management skills is required.

• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are required.
